Used CC for insurance. What will happen?

My car insurance came due the end of Feb. I worried, and fretted, and finally just paid the dang thang with my CC, to the total of about $775.

We are hoping to not file until we can put at least 90 days after this payment.

Do you think the CC will object to this?

They may threaten too but probably won't actually do so for such a small amount. However, you never really know.

We had one balance transfer for 1500 in the 70/90 day window and about 1200 worth of cash advances (overdraft protection) on another card in the 70/90 day window. Both wrote letters threatening to object. However, neither actually did. But, we sure sweated it out during that time. However we didn't want to wait to file since my husband was looking for a new job and anything he found would put us over the median. (He does start a new job after Easter). What we decided was that if they actually did object we would be okay paying that amount back.

I doubt they will object. However, if they do you can probably work something out to payback the $750.

I think it may also depend on which bank its with as some banks seem to be more likely to object then others.

I have one charge of about $1000 with a local creditor within the 6 month look back that I am waiting to see if they object. Like Jolly, if they object we'll just pay them back and be glad to get rid of the other thousands of dollars of debt. We also had to go ahead and get filed as my DH had been off work due to an accident and needed to file while our income was down.

        Thanks for your replys.

I guess I didn't realize that if they objected I would only have to pay back that amount. We could work something out for that amount if we had too.

I am just not up on all of this, yet!

I would proceed with the BK and not worry about it. You did what you had to do. You can face each hurdle as it comes. I would not let this drive your worries at the time.
