Quitting my job right before filing Ch 7 a wise decision?

I wonder why he would advise that? If you have not filed yet -- if you are a 7, then the employer wouldnt find out unless you told them.

Well, if I took the job we'd have just a little too much income to file Chapter 7 and would be pushed into a Chapter 13, he advised I wait until AFTER we file to find a job. I was NOT happy about that, I sulked for days. Hubby was happy, I've been home for over 3 years with our daughter and I'm dying for some adult conversation! LOL
