The time is approaching when I will be filing. As bad as this is supposed to be, I actually can't wait to start getting my life back. I'm wondering if it is possible to keep a motorcycle as an exempt vehicle.
I was up to three vehicles. One I sold off back in november it was not a practical vehicle and really isn't worth much. My truck is 25 years old and worth a couple hundred bucks maybe and needs lots of repairs. The only vehicle left is my 03 GSXR 600. It has a lot of miles and should fall below the value allowable in NC with the wildcard applied to it. It may sound weird, but of all the vehicles it is the most reliable and the only one I can really afford to drive with todays gas prices. My big concern is that I basically paid for it last febuary using one of the credit cards that will be affected, so I am worried whether or not it will warrant an objection from them. It has no lien by the way.
What do you all think? Ever heard of anyone doing it?
