Well, I just got a temporary reprieve at work... My boss was able to get approval to keep me through the end of November... and there's a new contract in the works that, if it comes through, would resolve the situation for good.
I'd have to move to Albany, NY, but I'd have a job.... actually, a job that I'd enjoy much more than my current one in an area I'd like better!
I still have to worry about it... it's a reprieve, not a pardon... but at least I'm not going to lose my job on my birthday!
Your guardian angel came through for you today, Lost! So glad you won't be jobless on your birthday. My fingers are crossed the new contract comes through as well. Keep us posted!
