Completed or Not So Completed Chapter 13

I finished my plan in Jan but just received my discharge last week. My mortgage company was the hold up and they were not in the plan. Only one problem they owed the trustee money and decide to take one of my mortgage payments to may them. My attorney and the Trustee both were aware of this problem but did nothing. Now that I have completed my plan technically the Bankruptcy lawyer is no longer my lawyer and the Trustee didn't care where the money came from as long as they cleared their books. The Lawyer knew and the Trustee knew that the mortgage company violate a bankruptcy law but no one cared.

If they were not in the plan then how did they owe the Trustee money? Did the Trustee accidentally send them a payment? If the trustee did that, then your mortgage account had an extra payment.

I don't know what bankruptcy law was violated. Do you know which section they violated? I'm interested to know because there's not enough information to figure out what went wrong.
