I know that I need to go bankrupt due to a large unsecured loan from construction on my home that was not finished, and now I am having to sue the construction company. Not paying on this loan has garbaged my credit. I am also disabled and on Social Security, so bankruptcy is definitely the way to go in Michigan. I had assumed I would do Chapter 7 and have under $1000 at any given time, so I cant really pay a lawyer. I found a program to be able to utilize a lawyer free. I want to reinstate my house, but wondered what to do about my car. 2018 Jeep Renegade with some issues and 115K on it. I would love any advice anyone here has to give on how I should go about things and if I should reinstate my car. Several payments behind on everything, lots of credit card and medical debt also. Yay.
