    Solicitors

Hi all! Long time lurker first time posting. You all have been helpful the past 5 years. We have finally reached the end and got our discharge letter this week. The crazy thing is we have gone 5 years making our chapter 13 payments on time and no one ever knew. We are now getting bomb barded with letters from attorneys wanting to represent us for bankruptcy. That’s like wanting to represent me after being found not guilty. Why now? And we had a man come to the house wanting to buy it. Our house wasn’t even included. Did anyone else get this after the discharge?

    I didn't; this sounds bizarre.

Sounds weird for sure! We only got the "deals" to buy cars. We have people looking to buy our house every so often, usually a realtor. We sold a house in your neighborhood let us sell your house.
I am not an expert. I share my experiences in the Wonderful Wacky World of Chapter 13! Filed 3-30-18 Confirmed 7-11-18 Discharged 6-8-22

Got another letter today. Appears they put it out there on foreclosure sites even though not for sale. Crazy
