Letter from mortgage server ....3000 for keys???

Hi,

I received this letter in the mail, about giving the keys to the condo and walk away for $3000....I am ready and willing to give up the keys as I have not lived there since October 2012.

The mortgage server has done ZERO to foreclose....I have had Citibank then Citi sold to LBPS, then LBPS became Seterus. I do have lis pendens on file(Citibank) but nothing more..

Is this offer legit???

Anyone else do this??

I took the 3k and ran!! So should be legit cash for keys. Did have to have it clean and tossed everything out. I was kind enough to leave the curtains and blinds and they tossed them all out.
