Questions on FC and modification

I know I am going to be served soon. Getting advertisements from lawyers offices with actual court numbers, says I should get summonsed in the next 2 weeks.

I am working on modification paperwork my lender sent me a few weeks back. Does it make any sense completing this or am I wasting my time now?

Also the co signer lives on the other side of the country and has for years, does she have to show to court.

What would be aprox cost for FC defense. We want to stay in the house.

My BK lawyer said to call as soon as I get served but was wondering if anyone knows these issues.

No use in just accepting service, let them take all the necessay steps to serve you properly, it will give you more time.
To answer your question, once you do get served answer the complaint and contest everything, if you ignore it the bank could get a default judgement against you.
