    Foreclosure not occupied

A little background. I filled a Chapter 7 in May 2009 and all was fine. (For those going thru it now, you will get thru it! Can't believe it's been 2.5 years already.) I had a weekend house that was included and was foreclosed on. 29 months later and the house still hasn't went up for auction. I travel for work a lot so moved my stuff out of the house thinking this would happen much sooner and didn't want to be out of the country when I got the notice.
Yesterday my insurance company notified me of intent to cancel the insurance on the place because it is not inhabited. I called them up and got them to reinstate the policy but they told me it was the mortgage company that notified them. Is this something I should worry about? When I called them they told me that they had no idea when the house would be auctioned off. Is there any thing I can do to speed this up?
Thanks. I would have never made it thru this process without this board.

Unfortunately, you can't force them to foreclose. (Some HOAs have been successful in Florida with reverse foreclosures, but it was an HOA foreclosing.) You are at the whim of them

If you are keeping insurance, you may want to adjust the policy since you have no "contents" in there anymore. It should probably be for liability only. Let the bank pay for "hazards" insurance (loss insurance) if they want to protect "their" interests! This is all about the bank shifting the cost of the insurance back to you.
