Minnesota Foreclosure

I just filed chapter 7 last week and included my house. I was wondering what is the best way to keep the bank from puting the house in foreclosure? I want to keep my family in here as long as we can so we can get back on our feet. Here's a lttle information on my situation so far I missed the July payment while I was getting the unemployment mod, I made a reduced payment for Aug. and Sept. I don't plan on making anymore payments. In Minnesota you don't have leave your house for 6 months after the sheriffs sale, so I want to keep the bank from bringing it to the sheriffs sale as long as possible. thanks for your help.
