If I stop paying now how long do they take to start or what did they do in your case.

Are they aggressive?

Just living in NY you probably have 2 years.

My situation with AHMSI, i stopped paying mortgage October 2010, filed BK7 Nov, 2010, Discharged March 2011, they just filed foreclosure Nov 21, 2011, notice the timeline.

What bank did AHMSI service the mortgage for?

Did they do anything during the BK?

When or did you get a 90 day notice?

My last payment was July, I received some standard letter with a modification application so far.

I did a request for info about the mortgage they did comply, sent them a request not to call anymore and they stopped.

I did see that an assignment was filed back in 2005 which was post dated, planning on defending the foreclosure when they file along with a well planned or timed Chap 7.

I'm guessing I have 4 years after they file, NY is the slowest state to go thru the Courts.
