    Nationstar

Does anyone have experience with this bank? We did a loan mod last year, when we first applied our bank sold our mortgage to Nationstar. After we stopped paying, Nationstar approved our loan mod, but not by much.

We plan to file chapter 7 within the next few months. We would like to save up as much as possible before moving. We will either offer a years worth of rent for a reduced rate upfront or try to find someone willing to do a private mortgage.

We plan to pay our mortgage until our BK is discharged, we are in a judicial state so I know that will slow things up a little.

If you have deblt with this bank, how did they proceed?

Thank you for that link - I'm currently looking for more information on that site.

We bought our house from a builder that did their own financing and then sold the loan to another bank right after closing. That bank then sold to Nationstar as soon as we applied for a mod. We were one of the last people to go through the builder's finance company - they stopped making loans, have been sued and convicted of criminal charges for fraud. I just looked our loan up on MERS but it really doesn't give much information at all, lol. It does list Nationstar as our servicer.
