How would you define "permanently attached"?

Apparently, the definitions of personal property and fixtures vary by state, but generally if you can unplug it you can take it.

Window AC you can take, but not whole house AC. Stove you can take, but not built-in oven. Light-shades on ceiling fixtures can go missing, but not the fixture itself.

If you're planning on renting afterward there may be appliances already at your place so I would sell all that stuff on Craig's List!
