Should I answer the phone and talk to the bank?

Hello, I have not made my house pmt since March 1st so I am two months late now, the bank has started calling me. My house was included in my bankruptcy last year and I did not sign reaffirm papers, but I kept making pmts and stayed current until February. I decided I am not going to keep the house so I stopped paying. I am hoping I can stay in the house through June before they kick me out. Should I talk to them or just wait for something to come in the mail? When will I know I am in foreclosure. When will I most likely have to move out? I am in the state of Utah.

According to the best info I can find on Google about Utah foreclosure timelines, once you get a Notice of Default you have 90 days until they begin advertising for the sale which takes another month or so. So you will likely be safe until June - but why not call your BK attorney's office and ask them to be really sure?

It won't hurt to talk to them. Nothing wrong with trying to make a smooth transaction for everyone involved.

Bankruptcy is a process, not an event.......
