    Still waiting in SW Washington

I haven't heard a thing. We quit paying our mortgage, and moved out over two years ago. Filled BK, and included the house (as you can see by my signature) in August of 2009. Impossibly, the house is STILL VACANT, and last I recieved any notification it was up for auction in October. I recieved nothing in the mail after this (it was re-scheduled several times). The property tax records show nothing other than trustee's report of sale in June of 2010.

I'm well on my way to recovery, I just can't believe the house is still just sitting there. No movement from the bank, apparently. Maybe we should have stayed there rent free for two years. Sheesh. Thoughts?

We are in BG - same county in SW WA as you. Our BK just closed - no word from lender - they didn't even file for relief from stay!?! - not about our requested Mod or anything... bizarre.

I wish I knew what to do.

Ar you guys in areas that things just are not moving at all? This concerns me as well, as we are moving in May to another state, I do not want this house hanging over our head for years. Oh well, we will deal with whatever happens. Our legislature is in the midst of re-writing the non judicial laws, which is just perfect timing for us - not. I am truly hoping my house goes really fast before they get anything passed in the laws.

We haven't paid on our mortgage for 10 months now (we're in ch13) and nothing yet; relief of stay hasn't been lifted yet either even though the bank was notified of our intention to surrender the house when we modified our ch13 plan to let it go. We're still in the house just waiting on something to happen and trying to save to move once something does happen. I have rented a storage unit to start putting stuff in that we don't use much and to be able to get out of the house quickly if we need to but nothing. Part of me wants it over with, and the other part wants to continue to save as long as possible. We have about 13 months left on our ch13 and I'm now thinking the ch13 may be discharged before the house is foreclosed on. Who knows!
