    So frustrated by this phone call!

    Just a little back info first: My Ch 7 was discharged in December and I was late for the first time on my mortgage in January. Within 30 days I received my breach letter from Suntrust, and just last week, I received a letter asking me to call them and see if we could work something out. I called on Saturday and spoke with a nice guy in collections who said that I needed to talk to Loss Mitigation today.

    I call today and get this woman who clearly hates her job. I told her I was trying to reach loss mitigation and she said that since I'm late on payments they automatically send me to collections. I start my new job this week, and she said that loss mitigation won't even talk to me right now. She then tried to scare me into thinking that this debt was not covered under my bankruptcy and I'd be responsible for it. Her whole attitude pissed me off so much, that when she told me to hold on, I just hung up. What's the point of asking me to call and work something out, when no one will even talk to me? Maybe we should just stick to the original plan, and let them foreclose and find something else. Any advice from those who have experienced this already? Thanks for your help. I'm just so frustrated by how rude this woman was.
