Our BK Chapter 13 was confirmed 10/8/2010.
We were able to strip a 3rd mortgage from our home (used to start a business that failed). Currently we have our first and second mortgage and are about $60,000 upside down in the home.
Can we try and get a modification? I have contacted NACA and they helped me submit paperwork, but I am not getting a response from the lender -GMAC- and wonder if I have to ask our attorney to contact the Trustee for permission.
