JP Morgan Chase halts foreclosures

I read that JP halted all foreclosures last week. I have a mortgage with these guys and my foreclosure has not been halted. It is scheduled to go to trustee sale on November 29.

Does anybody have a pending foreclosure with these guys and if so has it been halted?

As I understand it, Chase only stopped (delayed) FC's in the 23 states that use judicial FC.
I believe Arizona is primarily a Non-Judicial state and most deeds have a "power of sale" clause.

You may want to check with a local lawyer, but that may explain why your case is still proceeding.

I am in a judicial state (PA) - my foreclosure proceedings have not stopped. They even filed a motion (& won) to be released from my bankruptcy stay. My 341 meeting is tomorrow (today actually since it is after midnight now) & I'm sure Chase's lawyers will be there, so I guess I will find out more then.
