    Paid as agreed???

    Last payment to 1st & 2nd mortgages was 12/09.
Chapter 7 closed and discharged in the Spring 2010.

Today - pulled credit report and it 2nd shows incl in bk.
1st mortgage says paid as agreed - balance 0. What????

Have heard nothing from them - at all. We used to get late notices - that stopped a couple months ago.

We are still living in the home - Tampa Bay area. Anybody want to take a guess at what is going on???

    Thanks.

I think either the 1st or the credit reporting agencies must have made a boo-boo. I think both should read: " $0 balance IIB" Maybe you got a free house? I would pull all 3 credit reports out of curiosity.

I've pulled Transunion and it isn't even showing up - anywhere! Not the good nor the bad sections.
Equifax is the one that shows paid as agreed.

Who knows - this is simply ridiculous. When I phoned them to ask why it is appearing like this /or not appearing at all - they said they have no idea?~ what?
And frankly, they didn't seem to care....

      I just don't get it!

Well I believe you abandoned the house? Still living in it? Wait and see. The credit companies have nothing to do with legal stuff. It is an input error. Let it stay as it isn't bad, so could help you in the future. 'Hub
If I knew it all, would I be here?? Hang in there = Retained attorney 8-06, Filed 12-28-07, Discharge 8-13-08, Finally CLOSED 11-3-09, 3-31-10 AP Dismissed, Informed by incompetent lawyer of CLOSED status, October 14, 2010.

We are still in the property - and plan on staying until it actually forcloses.
I guess what I'm so shocked about is the response from the mortgage company.
Although you say it's an input error - I'm not so sure. I think they really DON'T want this house.
Their responses are very bizarre about the whole thing - they act like they have no idea what's going on with it and
are unsure what to really say. No- they haven't started anything yet. No- they don't know when. No- they don't know why we aren't getting late notices.
          Just odd I guess...

It doesn't affect you, so do you care that it's reporting current? The average customer service rep has no clue as to how things are reported to the Credit Bureaus as this is done through automated systems. Second mortgages are usually HELOCs so they usually get charged off as well.

I'd be happy to have my mortgage trade lines reporting as "Paid" $0 and "Current".
