    Motion to Lift Automatic stay

We made an agreement in Jan of this year to make our regular mortgage payment + an arrears payment of $223 for 9 months to cure a default after the Chap 13 filing. The total is $1084. Sounds small I know but we live in a neighborhood where the market values are in the 50k range with all these foreclosures. Since the agreement my husband has lost his job and and about to lose his unemployment benefits. Anyway the Judge has signed off to release the automatic stay and the mortgage co, Litton Loan, has sent us a Notice of default with intent to accelerate letter wanting $3400 in 45 days. At this point is there anything else we can do to save our home? I know I'm being silly about the house but I don't want to lose it. We're just having a hard time and I know it will get better eventually. Any suggestions will help. Thanks guys!

PS The mortgage company's Bankruptcy dept says our account is no longer in their system and when you call regular customer service they can pull my loan # up. The lady over our case in the Automatic Stay Dept at our VERY LARGE lawyers office won't return my calls. What the heck? I'm as frustrated as a mosquito in a mannequin factory, Grrrr!

Not sure if this might apply to you but it's all the news that banks are halting foreclosures in several states to "review procedures, etc."...so maybe this can buy you some time to talk to your bank for options?

Good luck. There's a lot of valuable info in this forum, just read through the threads...
