....say the foreclosure process takes years...(i've read some posts on here that some are still in foreclosure 2 yrs or more)....i'm planning to file for Chap 7 bk and plan on giving up the home....but i understand the title will still be in my name....now, i'm recently engaged and are planning on a 2 yr engagement cuz i had hoped the house and bk would be taken care of by then....will i have to wait til the foreclosure goes thru so that my future husband wont go on the title and face foreclosure also?? or will that not happen and it won't matter??

My husband owned a rental property when we got married and for my name to go on the title, we had to refi and have it retitled. Just my experience, but I do not think his name automatically goes on the title. You could try Deed in Lieu of foreclosure, but from what I have been reading, that doesn't always work. You should definitly consult an attorney on this.
