Waiting for bank to make contact

So, we had our Ch 13 dismissed on August 13. Still no word from the bank (Wells Fargo). We are now 3 months behind. Anyone have any idea when we might expect a letter or something from them? Trying to figure out how much time we have to stay and save. We are in Connecticut. Thanks!

A friend of mine is 4 months behind on a first mtg with wells fargo. Not a PEEP from them yet, other than the monthly statements showing how behind they are.

I was 10 days late and they started calling. I have been up to 3 months behind and they never sent any intent letters or default letters. Just called.

that's so weird, I wonder why they call some people and not others? My friend's info is all the same as when they got the mtg, so it's not like they don't know where to call. Never called (no unidentified, unanswered calls, either) they just aren't calling, and october will be 5 months...

Iused to work at BofA, there's no telling why some pop up and others don't. I know they are all equally flagged on the system when they're late, so why some are chosen over others is a human decision....you'd think that they would system-generate automated letters and/or auto dialer calls to all though

Thanks for your replies! So if we have not been served any papers or received really anything yet, do you think the odds are good we can stay here until January? We would really like to stay until the first of the year if at all possible.

Check you local county recorder to see if anything has been filed. Normally before foreclosing, they will record a notice of default. A copy of it should be mailed to you as well, but it doesn't hurt to check your county recorder's office for records relating to your property

I'm 5 months late on mortgages with BOA and not a peep yet. However, I'm in an active ch13 and they have to get the automatic stay lifted first before they contact me and I think that is what is holding up the process. Funny thing...well sort of...when we had our ch13 modified last May to surrender our house due to my husband's loss of job...they were clearlly notified of our intentions. I would have thought that would have sped things up but not so.

So maybe we should take bets on whether my ch13 will be finished first or the foreclosure on the home. I have 20 months left before my ch13 is done....lol!

                          FrankieMom,
Since your 13 was dismissed, Has any unsecured ccs come after you? My stepdaughter is getting her dismissed also. Her attorney told her she would have 90days b4 the mortgage company figured out she was dismissed.

i think my mortgage company new almost immediately after the discharge and attempted to call me.....(even though i surrendered the house 2 years before)....

they wanted to know what my intent was???? LOL!!!!! from that point even if they did continue with the foreclosure it will depend on how fast that area and bank are working to get their foreclosures done...

we figured it out we have been in foreclosure for over 2.5 years....and they have never even set a sheriff's sale date....NOT even yet??
