    LOL!!! OK...you got me...i'm born and raised in san fran...so calif was MUCH better than jersey....who the hell would EVER want to live there..

      I'm a native Californian too, born and raised in SoCa, but Fresno is truly the Appalachia of California! Most people here consider a High School education as higher learning, pay is low unless you work for the State??? or are a professional, Dr, lawyer or farmer and with unemployment at +14%, Chase will be siting with that house for a while as there are over 10 other foreclosures in my old neighborhood and the last two that sold were around $50,000! Couldn't happen to a better Bank, either! Got to love Chase
      November 2, 2009: Filed Chapter 7, December 10, 2009: 341 Done! January 11, 2010 Last Day for Objections! February 9, 2010 Discharged!!! February 12, 2010 Case Closed, MyFico on 11/09: 550, Now: 715!

        SP oh..i know fresno...when i was a kid all it was was FARM land...no one was out there other than a few artichoke stands...LOL!!!


        chase had me going in circles....after 30 years with them...i told them we are in trouble. they said the best we can do for you is let you miss this month but you have to pay double next month...ok...and like how will THAT help us??

        next....(and for us it prior to any government plans being in effect)...the mod route...ok chase says we can consider you for loan mod, but you have to be late on your payments for at least 3 months.

        next...we don't and can't even understand what a loan mod is....so how can we help you....

        finally, the chase (which there were NO offices by us for over 60 miles) opens little offices to help with loan mods...we make an appointment...meet with a nice guy would now says we will not be able to most likely help us because of your job loss....go bk...that's what bk is for...i said NO...they submitted our application....

        5 months later not a word.....

        10 months later our financial situation changes for even the worse.....we reapply with chase mod program...guy is so sweet...caring and kind....says we should hear back in a few weeks....

        oh...we heard back alright.. a foreclosure summons???!!! thanks chase for all the help..called my atty...he says you can't and shouldn't reaffirm.....lock it and leave...not me....can't do that...we .i called my good ole chase guy and he says you mean you are LEAVING??? don't do that??? you should have called me......excuse me? i GOT A SUMMONS....a legal instrument why would i call YOU IT CAME FOR YOU.......i did...you were supposed to get my loan mod thru...but instead you got my foreclosure summons thru....not very nice...he says chase wasn't suppose to do that...oh really? right

        i told him one hand has no clue what the other's doing at chase...we had 30 days to get out and that's what we are doing. take the house....whewwww...what a world wind that was!!

        so we are still on the deed...i'm working with one of these FAKE stimulus funded "suppose to help consumers NOT let the banks rip you off committees" to help us get our names off the deed and hand over a warranty deed and release....told to over 30 people at chase not a ONE knows what to do....this watchdog office of course has done absolutely NOTHING...except spend money paying themselves...what a mess.

        sorry....just got me going with chase!!!

          The house is on the market for $107,000.... no way is Chase going to get that! Oh well, living in a much better part of town and paying less for rent than just my mortgage payment! Got to love "awful Fresno"!

            sp....make sure you let me know how you make out with old chase....

            i, up into this point have known not a soul that has been able to work with them on a foreclosure situation...

            we decided last week just give it up...we are 1700 a way from the property and the mortgage was discharged...i don't care if they keep our names on the deed...keep it for all i care!

              Well for me I'm done with Chase as the mortgage was discharged in February, I moved out just before the Trustee Sale 9/17/2010 (Sheriff Sale) and now the property is out of my name... yeah, no more utilities and homeowners insurance for that place! They (Chase) will NOT get $107,000 for the place with the amount of work it needs, new roof, paint, HVAC system and electrical, termites and cracked garage floor! Considering all the resent sales in the neighborhood were $50,000 or less and they needed less work done on them! I will keep you posted on the final sales price and how long it takes Chase to unload it from their foreclosure portfolio.
