Help.. Modification Loan accepted and denied

GMAC send me a modification loan back in Feb.. I agree and signed and fedex back on time.. two weeks later.. called GMAC and they told me that I was denied because I was late.. I told i have the FEDEX tracking number stated I was on time.. couple of months of on going ..

I recieved a Trustee Sale date of Aug 30..

So I don't know if I sue them for wrongfully giving hope or what can I do to save the house..

I need to find a lawyer.. in San Diego
