BOA 2nd in "recovery" dept despite being IIB- Is this normal?

got a phone call from BOA recovery dept wanting payment on our 2nd that was IIB. Rep said she was going to take us to court and garnish wages. (ooooh, thats going to make us pay, NOT ) We told her that the 1st mortgage holder is foreclosing and that we filed and were discharged from Ch 7 last year. They claimed to have no knowledge of this and acted as though I were making it up to get her to go away. While I was on the phone giving her all the BK info so that she could update her records I pulled up my credit report and it showed that BOA was reporting IIB Ch 7 and in the creditors notes it said that it was transferred to recovery.
Is this normal for them? What are they trying to do here? Obviously they were notified and they acknowledge that it was IIB so why are they moving it out of BK dept and to recovery dept?

They are trying to collect on a debt that has been discharged. Highly illegal and unethical..But, that's Skank of America for you. Give them a copy of your discharge and case #. Then send them a cease and desist letter...there are copies somewhere on this website of a few good ones. They can't collect on a debt that has been discharged. They are just trying to scare you..Just make sure your second WAS IIB..
