I called our local court house and they said they had no way to know. We could come in and read through some book of titles and see if it was in there. That sounds pretty back woods, but we ARE in Alabama... Do you get anything in the mail, or just keep watching the paper? Some man was out at the house taking pictures a few days ago, but ran away when we went out to see him.

Need a little more information..Last payment ? Gotten anything in the mail ? All states have notification rules. Phone calls from lenders ? Usually you will get tons of stuff in the mail or served at your door. The man in your yard was probably a local rep. from your lender taking pictures of the condition and occupancy of the house. Their harmless. -
