So long as the home hasn't officially been foreclosed (meaning the deed is still in your name), your friend can make an offer. Whether the bank will say yes is another question.

What I was asking by "will the bank work with us", now husband is making enough money that technically we could make original monthly payments. Debt was discharged in chap 7, so what kind of arrangement is the bank likely to try to make, if any?
