I am in Arizona. After 7 missed payments we received our sale date from Chase, set for August. How will I know if the sale gets postponed? If I do not do anything to prevent foreclosure and let it run it's course will there be a chance it will be postponed at all? If it is postponed, will they notify me? And how close does the sale date get before it's postponed?

I can only speak for our experience in a foreclosure of a rental house in NC. We requested to surrender the house 2-09. We started getting notifications of sale dates in Aug 09. Each month, a few days after the stated sale date, we would get another notice that is was postponed until the following month.
The sale was actually held this month. I am curious to see how long it takes for our name to be removed from everything.
