Certified Letter from Chase

I've been two months behind on my mortgage for over a year (haven't let it go to three months - 90 days). I got a notice for a ceritifed letter from Chase (my mortgage holder). Anyone else received anything from Chase when they're running two months behind? I have both my first mortgage and a home equity loan with Chase.

What state are you in? New York passed a new law this year requiring a 90 day notice by certified and regular mail before foreclosure proceedings can be started.
