    NOD issued from state

I received notice of default from the state and NOT from the lender. Is this right? The letters they sent are from UTLS default services. I have the option of saving my home, but that's not possible. Well, either way I got that along with two copies to send out to trustee and the state indicating waiver or wanting to do mediation. So, if I don't send it back they'll go ahead with the foreclosure. If I want mediation I have to send $200 along with the form.

I don't plan on seeking mediation. And I am officially in county records!! lol! Not really funny but yeah it's there....Notice of Breach and Default and of Election to Cause Sale of Real Property Under Deed of Trust. So, I'm almost there. It's almost over. I can't wait! I'm hoping it's done within 3-4 months. We'll see.

Oh and I LOVE how they sent me 11 copies of the same document certified! I mean really, one document would be sufficient!! Waste of paper!

    Thats really strange....

Are you sure it's from your state government ? And not from a "front" company appointed by your lender to handle the foreclosure ? I'm curious to know what state department "handles" foreclosures ? And if it is from the state why are they getting involved in a private transaction between you and your soon to be former lender ? What state is your property located in, if you don't mind me asking ?

My bad..I received one from county indicating the filing and the other 11 are from UTLS. They're just stating that I'd be able to save my house if I wanted to and included the form state of nevada mediation program. I think that's why I thought it was from the state. I thought that I would have received something from the lender, but I guess they send records indicating default on your loan to that company and they take it from there. Kind of like collections but not really since foreclosure will most likely happen. Either way it's on its way to foreclosure
