tax question form 982

Anybody have to fill out a 982 this year.Form 982 shows box 1a for bankruptcy.I want to file using tax software at home,Is form 982 in that software,Do I have to attach a copy of discharge papers,how would I do that.

Called irs,they said check box 1a,fill out box 2 for amount,same as amount on 1099.I said what about copy of discharge,they said not needed unless they ask.
