Letting house go, Have Suntrust Mortagage.

Hi all. Wanted to know if any of you have experience with Suntrust Mortgage and forclosing. We live in Central Florida and we were discharged on chapter 7 this past July. We were going to keep the house, we did not reaffirm, but it makes no finacial sence to keep it were under by over 100 thousand . So, we banking all our money while we can. I guess I wanted to know what your thoughts were on dealing with Suntrust, received the normal letter from them stating were late by 90 days, and have till Dec 20th to pay. I also want to know what the average time frame has been for the actual forclosure to take place and have to move. We want to ride it out as long as we can to bank our cash. Thanks!!

I have suntrust. Been about a year for me so far. Just got discharged chapter 7 in jan. Firm doing the foreclosure said by the end of this year. I plan on being out in June. So almost 2 years it looks like. Bank it while you can.

We are at well over a year. Seems to be no urgency to foreclose on their part. You have time.
