Chase escrowed my taxes without notification now I cant pay anything! Help!

oh one more last thing, this was our first year ever that there was an overlap of years, and only by one month( july 1st we recieved our newer taxes,) mid Aug ( 6 weeks) later is when the new payment and letter ( read last post) came. thats the only time we had the previous years taxes overlap. thats all I am saying. The same thing my bank did to me earlier this year (March). As soon as applied for a mod they started collecting escrow messing all my budget. Now after doing some comparable sales in this area, found out I am way under water so I stopped paying they can escrow all they want. We'll stay in the till evicted.

we've lost around 90K in equity, our house was worth around 250Kwhen we bought in 2005, it's now worth about 150K! ( were in Mi) we paid 199k . AMAZING! no $ down, so we walked into equity,(the house sat empty for 2 years due to a crazy lady) :we were going to re-fi and lock it in to a fixed last year, with taxes escrowed in. But then we realized with comps and the empty houses in my nieghborhood, that it lost too much, and we were then upside down and our savings wouldn't be enough at that time to make up the difference at closing, so we couldn't refi. Then we sat and warched the value drop further. now this. So this is what we've concluded, that scince we put no $ down and we only painted and added some needed carpet, that we can walk away. But what they have done now with the taxex only confirms that were in a loosing game. Crazy huh? Spooky

I have Wells Fargo and they tried to do this to me because my insurance company jacked our house insurance up by a 1000.00. We had taxes and insurance escrowed. They told me my house payment was going to go from 700.00 to 1200 a month. I of course, found a new insurance carrier and canceled my other policy. They sent me a check and I made a escrow payment online and it prevented all my future payments from going up and my house payment went down because I found cheaper insurance than my last carrier. So, I was able to get all this done before the next billing and my house payment stayed the same.
