But in reality, there is no magic bullet. You have time, but eventually, you will need to be in a position to start paying your mortgage.
Options are
1. Mortgage modification, (good luck with this waste of time) In any given month, there are maybe 20,000 modifications done, and 275,000 foreclosures. Over 70% of modifications that get granted go back into default within 6 months.
2. Chapter 13 bankruptcy.
