Just got my NOD, 13 months no payments

I filed Chap. 7 and was discharged last March. Also got a divorce the same time [fun times] My ex didn't file BK so he's still on the loan. Will they go after him? I included my mortgage in my BK.
Been nice living here for so long with no payments, but I knew this day would come. Just hope I can stay through till Spring

Yes, they will attempt to collect from your ex.

If you split on bad terms, you may find it amusing. In that event, be careful about sharing information about your filing. Never can tell what could come up and bite you at an unexpected time.

If you split on good terms, and are friendly, I would inform him so he can plan for it.

Thanks for the info. He was going to file a BK but decided not to since he owns his own business. he doesn't have a lot of assets but i think the bank will still go after him. Like he says though, they can't get blood out of a turnip. Hope he's right!

Well finally went to the Post Office to sign for the certified letter, and it wasn't a NOD after all. It was a 'notice to accelerate'. They gave me until Dec. 10th to cure my loan. Thanks so much to Slam for explaining what that really is!
