property taxes included with house payment potential problem?

My property taxes are included with my house payment. Now that I have started missing house payments, will I have a tax issue that I won't be able to discharge?

I have never heard of this. You have filed and the date time stamped. The taxes go with the real estate, not an individual. Your bank will own the house if they choose to foreclose. I assume that is the case. 'Hub
If I knew it all, would I be here?? Hang in there = Retained attorney 8-06, Filed 12-28-07, Discharge 8-13-08, Finally CLOSED 11-3-09, 3-31-10 AP Dismissed, Informed by incompetent lawyer of CLOSED status, October 14, 2010.

Three questions.....have you already filed bankruptcy? If yes, which chapter did you file and did you indicate that you intended to surrender your house when you filed?

If you've already filed and your house payments were up to date when you filed, then the taxes on the home for after you filed and have surrendered it will be paid by your lender or the person who buys the home at auction.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
