    Americas Servicing Company

Hey, ya'll. Has anybody ever heard of or dealt with America's Servicing Company, ASC? Thanx

They are under wells fargo. They don't have a website except to pay. I read online they have complaints with BBB.

Thanx, flny. Everytime I ask them who 'owns' my loan, they say they don't know or they can't get me the information. I am in forcelosure with them but BK will stall that for awhile.

Who or what is BBB? And do you or anyone else think it would be wise of me to ask them to Produce the Note, just so that I know who actually holds the Note and if 'they' are legally able to foreclose on me?

      Thanx, DGranny

Send them a Qualified Written Request, they have to respond to your request for info. Google QWR + RESPA and you will get a ton of sample letters.

ASC is awful - they are the thugs of loan servicing. Don't believe anything they tell you verbally.

Yes, I think in your case you should definitely ask them to produce the note. They are trying to take your home but can't tell you who on behalf of whom? That's just crazy.

I am in California and have been going in circles with ASC on a modification. They just proposed a loan forbearance to me which requires me to make 3 payments and then they will see if my lender will approve a loan modification. I did this last year and my lender said it was not in their best interest. I am still trying to get them to approve a loan modification for me.
