I was sent an email almost a month ago from NACA with the modification info from BofA. I accepted the offer for modification and now I have not heard anything from either NACA or BofA. I was told that the new payment would be due September 1st, which is just a few weeks away. The problem I have is that I have not received any paperwork to sign to confirm that the modification is all set. Should I be worried? Does it usually take this long to complete a mod?

oh yeah, a month, thats nothing! I was approved for mod from BoA in March, got "official documents" that needed to be signed and notarized in the end of June. Hope you aren't in bk, could mess things up. Call NACA and BoA. The loss mitigation department at Boa should be able to give you a status update. Have you been to loansafe? They may be able to help. Good luck, getting a mod from Boa has taken many years off my life.
