    Just wondering....

    Hello,
I have heard that you can look online through the county courts to see if the NOD has even been filed. I have tried this and connot seem to find where you do this. Does anyone have any idea? I live in MI if that helps!

You can look it up on PACER. You need to sign up for it and it's eight cents a page. If you use the "search" on here you should be able to find a link that has a manual to use it. Good luck!
    Filing: 4/10/2009, 341: 5/18/2009
    Last day for objections: 7/17/2009
    Discharge: 7/29/2009

Thanks!! I have heard of people using pacer to check the status of their bk, but I hadn't realized you could look up that kind of stuff! I'm so glad for this forum! I keep finding out things I wouldn't have on my own

So I registered with pacer and I tried to look up my info. I wasn't able to find anything if I even did it correctly. Does anyone have experience with finding their foreclosure filing on pacer??

After signing up for PACER I went to my particular court online website eg: "northern/southern district of xxxx " or whichever one if yours. I then proceeded to log into something called " CM/ECF Filer or PACER Login " and I then logged in. From there I clicked on Query--->Enter your last name, first name, middle name in the appropriate boxes. Then click on "run query" and it should come up your name and all the information you could want about your case.

You should be able to search the clerk of courts records online for your particular county.
Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out. -Rick

Wouldn't the mortgage or lein holder notify you thru the mail if they filed or were going to file an NOD? I would like to know because I'm wondering if it's gonna get to that point with my 2nd mortgage.

I'm sure that they would notify you through mail, but mail takes awhile sometimes and I was just trying to see if anything was done yet just so that I know......Knowing is half the battle! lol
