I don't understand what they are doing

Okay we filed Chapter 13 in September of 2007. We included the past due amounts of both mortgages. With Countrywide we claimed to owe them $8600. When they filed their claim it showed a little over $10,000 (we figured this was attorney fees and etc.). With Saxon/Cradlerock we showed $1600 and they filed for about $2400. Well, I believe it was in December (after we filed) we decided we couldn't afford the house payments, repairs and HOA fees. We just didn't have the money. So we decided to stay there for a while until we could figure something out. We were paying outside the plan. August of 2008 we received notice that the stay had been lifted. I couldn't handle going to the mail box everyday wondering if that was the day I would receive notice of foreclosure. So in October we moved into our apartment. We had our mail forwarded to a PO Box. I check the court website and Sheriffs website almost daily. There is still no notice of our house even being in foreclosure much less going to auction. What are they waiting on? We haven't made a payment in a year and a half. Oh and that $10,000 claim from Countrywide got knocked down to $5600 (which is what we had paid up till the point of the change - back in November). So I don't understand what is going on. Are they waiting for our plan to be completed (should be in November) to sue us for the difference? We are in a 100% payback plan, not that I think that matters. Can someone give me a clue as to what might be going on...
