I want some more education on this but from what I am reading it almost seems like a no brainer???? My mort. is FHA backed so why couldent they just give me the partial claim to get me current? from what I see its a great option and doesnt seem all that difficult? It says you must be at least 4 months behind to get it, I cannot see why it wouldent be a great easy option to get back on track?

When I was in the same boat, they told me that the partial claim is usually used for people who have been in their homes for 15+ years. At the time, I was only in my home for 2 years.
I hate the FHA rules. You just have to get lucky to keep your home, because as soon as you are 3 months late, they start foreclosure, then you have another month to resolve everything. It's just all too stressful.
