Chase bank, front yard posting timeline

    Hi all,

Going on our 3rd missed payment. Retained attorney in process of chapter 7. Attorney said do not pay anymore mortgages. Have no clue when Chase will start process. Cannot even reach them by phone. The person handling our case has voice mail that says leave only one message and she will return call. 3 weeks later no call. Do they have to notify you when you are going in foreclosure?? Will they post a big ugly sign on my yard!?!? If so, when will that happen because I want to be long gone before that humilation in my nosey neighborhood!!!! Any info greatly appreciated!!

I know when the house I rented foreclosed, the notice was taped to my front door.

If you live in a gated community and the gates are closed during the day, they will tape it to the gate or near it.

What state do you live in?

    Foreclosure noticing varies by state.

We live in AZ, but at what point of the foreclosure I wonder that they would tape or put a sign up? I know I've passed houses that say bankowned on the for sale sign, but they are empty

Depending on the foreclosure process in AZ, the notice of TS is usally posted sometime after the notice of default. It could be a few days to months.

Google "Arizona Foreclosure Timeline" it will tell you the requirements for publishing a trustee sale.

I am not familiar with the Arizona foreclosure process.

The signs that you see that say "Bank Owned" have gone all the way through the FC process and title has reverted back to the lender.

These properties are also called REO properties, and will sometimes say that as well.

They will not post a sign that says "Foreclosure" on your front lawn, but it may say "Bank Owned" which typically means they are being sold "As is" and may not be move in ready, depending on how the home owner left it and what the bank wants to do with it.
