Got a question.. I am trying to stall for as long as I can so that I can save up enough money to move and still have some in savings to cover the rent payment for about 6 months if possible. I want to work with CCCS to see if they can work with my lender to get us a loan workout. The lender seems determined to say no and proceed with the foreclosure. Once my husband files Chapter 7, will that buy us some time with the lenders foreclosure proceedings and if so, we go through CCCs to negotiate with them and God forbid if that doesn't work, who knows how long the negotiations could take, how much time do you think that could buy us? I need at least 10 months to get what I need and find something in the area we are currently living in. What do you all think?
