Owner of Mortgage Note is Bankrupt

I just found out this morning that the owner of my mortgage note is Lehman Brothers and I believe they went belly up last fall. Chase is my servicer.

Now, what happens to any loan modification proposal that was presented to Chase?

I wonder what happened to my mortgage note?
