How long should it take for bank to takeover post BK?

    I don't trust my HOA as far as I can throw them, and don't want any issues after I'm gone: leaving no forwarding addresses, no forwarding phone numbers.
    This seems to vary by State, but even given that, it depends on the Bank primarily. As I wrote, most Banks just pay everything that's due against the property, for clera title.

    However, and this has happened to other folks on this board, the HOA fees are not statutory (at least in some states) and are attached personally, not to the property.

    Texas, is similar to Florida I believe. In this State (Florida), it appears that homeowner association fees are associated with the home itself. Texas grants much more power to Homeowner Associations than Florida, so it could differ.
