    Litton Loan Service and Foreclosure

We have just walked away from our house and our loan was sold 4 months ago tio Litton Loan Service. I have heard that they are awful to deal with.

We do not want to keep our house, just want them to foreclose on it quickly.
I am worried because they are a collection agency as well, if they are going to be very nasty having to deal with them.

Anyone had a forclosure with Litton and can give me some insight?

    Thanks,

    Faith

I do not want the house and it is vacant. I am calling them next week and letting them know. Would they be any easier to deal with if I mailed the keys back and let them have it without a fight or are they going to harrass me anyway?

Thanks for the info. Just trying to prepare myself mentally.

I have been dealing with Litton for months. They are not very responsive. They have finally offered me a modification that takes the interest back to the original rate and fixed for two years. That was after phone call after phone call advising them were having trouble making the payment amount they are now willing to modify the loan to. We are now behind in our payments but we haven't really received any threatening phone calls from them. We received more when were current and hadn't made the payment by the 1st but before the 16 day grace period.

There is a site called loansafe.org that is very similar in nature to this one but it is all about foreclosures. They have several posts regarding litton.

      Good luck.

Here are the contacts for Litton and the Executive Resolution Team......... I would paper them with emails and requests every chance I had. The llitton address is supposedly Larry Litton Jr.s email. He is the CAO for Litton.

They're practically broke themselves, they were bought/bailed out by Goldman Sachs not too long ago.

When a Wall Street bank purchases a business, don't expect them to be #1 in customer service.

That's not a very good mod.

Better than a sharp stick in the eye, I suppose.

You'd best start planning what you're going to do in 2 years because credit is TIGHT right now and there's a good chance it will be as bad or worse 2 years from now.

People complain that they have so much trouble communicating with the servicers... gee I wonder why?
