Look in your phone book under your "State" section for your State Bar Association. Call and ask for the names of BK attorneys in your area. Explain you are investigating filing BK and have no clue where to begin and need a good attorney. ALmost all BK attorneys give free initial consultations now.

Thanks Flamingo for the information. We are in the process of moving to GA. I know GA has a residency requirement before you can file, but my husband has been there for 90 days already so I hope I can get the ball rolling when I get there.
