The title company was supposed to auction my crappy condo off on the 4th. Anyway to find out if it got sold? My attorney suggested paying ins for this month and then be done with it.

BKcrazy, you may be able to call the courthouse in that area (whatever dept handles deeds) and give them the info on your property (book & plat number, whatever that weirdness is ) and they should be able to tell you even if the deed has not been recorded yet. If that county has online deed records (many do) you could just keep your eye on it, but it might take weeks for the deed to be recorded, so a call is better.
The second suggestion I have is to call the foreclosure attorneys (the law firm on those notices you kept getting ) and ask them. You may get transferred a few times, but you should be able to speak with someone. These are the same attorneys for the lender who file the paperwork for post-foreclosure evictions, so it's not like they have never heard from a foreclosed homeowner before, and in my case they were far more polite and helpful than the lender ever was. Good luck!!!Nolo Press book on filing Chapter 7, there are others too. (I have no affiliation with Nolo Press; just a happy customer.) Best wishes to you!

BKcrazy, that's whack. Tell you what: if you PM me with the state and county this foreclosure sale took place in, I'll see what you have available as far as record searches and deed availability, etc. I'm very good at rooting out deed info online, but not all counties have it, or have it set up in any easy to use fashion. But I can sure look for you. You don't have to tell me personal info, just the state and county, and I can probably tell you exactly where to look for that info. Anyway, just let me know.Nolo Press book on filing Chapter 7, there are others too. (I have no affiliation with Nolo Press; just a happy customer.) Best wishes to you!
