A little back story- We filed BK 7 Aug 2014, Our case is now discharged, and closed. We were letting our house go, so didn't use exemptions on it. Nov 2014 our BK Trustee "sold" our house to a bottom dweller Investor. The Deed switched to their name, and they took over the house as we had moved out. Lately we have been getting papers from the Mortgage Law Firm, and today received a Notice of Hearing- Plantiff's Motion For Court Default. There is a court date set for next week. I just want to be sure this is just standard operating procedure leading up to the Forclosure taking place, and we are no longer under ANY obligation here since w/ filed Chap 7 and surrendered the house in the BK.
